Getting you and your loved ones the care you deserve.

About me
I decided to become a mental health professional in large part due to my own personal experiences growing up. From early childhood, through adolescence and even into young adulthood I saw the good, the bad and the ugly when it came down to working with those in the mental health field. Despite these challenges however, it only took one positive (albeit life-changing) experience for me as a client before I knew I wanted to devote my life towards walking with others in helping them find the growth, healing and change they are looking for in their own lives.
I graduated with my MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Franciscan University of Steubenville and have since worked in a variety of settings providing group, individual, marriage and family therapy services both in-person and via telehealth. I am a certified EMDR therapist through EMDRIA and use this modality often in my practice based on the needs and preferences of my clients. Additionally, as an EMDRIA-approved consultant, I provide consultation to other therapists who are seeking to learn and/or become certified in EMDR therapy. While I am qualified to cover a vast range of issues my specialties are largely focused on the following concerns:
Trauma
Anxiety
Depression
Panic
Phobias
OCD
Grief/Loss
Spiritual/religious crises
Gender identity issues
Sexual compulsions including but not limited to:
Sexual misbehavior
Unwanted sexual attractions
Sex and/or pornography addiction
I know what it is like to be a patient or concerned family member looking for good help. If you think we might not be a good fit but are still looking for services with another provider then do not hesitate to reach out with a call or email and I’d be more than happy to speak with and provide you with a list of referrals who might be able to help satisfy your needs.
